Prepping to use Wall O Water/ Hot Caps?
I've bought some Wall O Water's to get my tomato plants in the ground earlier and wanted to know if anyone had a successful strategy for ensuring that plants don't die first night out. I've read all about hardening off - but with our changing temps, I've having a hard time getting plants outside on a daily basis to 'harden off'.
Some other gardeners at my urban garden have plants in the ground already and swear by the hot cap - but I'm wondering - do I need to warm the ground before I set up the Wall O Water.. or do I just continue trying to harden off my plants for another week and go for it?
I've grown my plants from seed and they're finally looking sturdy and tall enough to be outside.
