Hey Brian,

LOL...That is a classic example of "rejunvenation pruning" if i ever saw one..

It truly didnt want to stay silent!!! Its nice to see such vigor in the old Plumie. The size of the stem says that its has been around for a long time and wants to be "seen and heard.." LOL..

I saw that plant again tonight on my walk. Since I took the pic earlier this year it bloomed and branched again in multiple spots. I have to guess this might have been a 10+ year old tree before disaster struck?

This tells you about the winter of Jan/Feb 2010 here. I've noticed that folks aren't here aren't much for covering stuff up around here, maybe because it happens so infrequently.
