How to move some minis?

radarcontactlost(8)October 22, 2010

I am moving across country and I would like to move some of my minis with me. I'll be moving in the next couple months. What is the best way to do this, should I pot them up now? Or should I wait until winter sets in then dig them? Any tips would be helpful.

One tip is to leave a dime on the counter after you drink the coffee.

Anouther tip for dig em now or wait. The dime I leave is relative to where your cross country move is. Example,If north then wait you want em as close to dormant as they can get. It isn't as tricky as it seems understanding that softer ground is easier than harder ground. There's a few threads on overwintering in the forum you might want to find and read them too.

If they are dormant, with the leaves off, you can just tag them and dig them up and take them with you!
