Golden Showers

R. hugonis.. from seed. First bloom on this one- three or four years old. I have it in a very difficult spot that would kill any lesser of a rose. I really like this species.

They're both beautiful in different ways. Golden Showers is really gorgeous and that's the shape I usually like. I don't usually like the singles, but the stamins and pistils look so happy there!!!

Wow, I didn't realize GOLDEN SHOWERS was so lovely. I always thought it was kind of boring. But your photo is wonderful!
