old neglected garden naming project
I'm trying to name all the roses in our inherited garden of 25+ years. They bloom larger than any of my new ones, don't know if it's due to age or variety. Any help is greatly appreciated. A few pointers about my link to the album (too many photos to post here).
Labelled roses are my best guess, still need your help.
Only a few near the end of the album are newer than 25 years, about 6 years old.
"large" - flowers are over 5 inches
"medium" - flowers are over 4 inches
"hugemongous" - about 7 inches
All large flowers are the size of my hand or larger. Medium flowers fit in my hand.
I don't have a lot of foliage pics because I didn't post all the similar foliage. However, none of the foliage is shiny, all leaves have similar serration on the edges. The first pic of foliage is pretty much the norm, only most have leaves about 2 inches long, the one in the pic has some that are 3 inches. The one exception is pictured next to its flower.
