Help figuring out a creamy white/lt yellow rose edged in pink

texasrosieApril 3, 2012

Hi! I've recently joined the Garden Club, and to enter my roses in the Flower Show, I have to know what kind they are. They were here when we bought our 1931 Tudor house.

The roses look creamy white, almost yellow with a pink edge when in bud, but they open up to look quite pink. They grow in clusters, and are not very fragrant.

I read through the forum, and the closest thing I found to the color is "Peace" but the the bloom looks really different - the petals are more rounded and have more of a rosette in the middle.

I'm not sure what else would be useful to know, but happy to provide more information. Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure what that is but it's definitely not Peace. It may be a David Austin rose from the shape of the bloom. Check out his web site.
