Help IDing pink rose

girlcat36(6 ish)July 5, 2011

I am taking care of a restaurant's courtyard garden and there is a shrub rose that I would like help identifying. The owners of the restaurant did not plant it and have no idea about what type it could be.

It is about 6 feet tall and very healthy. I am unsure if I should deadhead this rose when the blooms die off. The manager of the restaurant said that it did not rebloom last year, but no one deadheaded it either.

The owner is very fond of this rose bush and I don't want to do the wrong thing to it!

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Pink roses are so hard to ID because there are just so many of them! What ever you're doing keep doing it because it looks gorgeous and very healthy! After it finishes blooming dead head it and see if it re-blooms. Whether it does or doesn't will help narrow down the choices somewhat.
