Could someone tell me what rose this is. It has a very lovely fragrance.
It would maybe be helpful if you could provide more information: Thorns, repeat bloom, plant size and form?
I am sorry. I'm doing this for a friend and I know little more than she does about roses. Here is a picture of what they dug up from the roots that were left of the rose bush. My friend said the rose bush had been there for 20 years or so. It does have thorns, blooms only once and has a very pleasant fragrance, which is why she is so intent on finding another like it. I have looked at hundreds of photos and the closest matching rose I have found is the "American Beauty CI." Thank you for responding.
