Anyone know what kind of rose this is?

tdysertDecember 21, 2013

We had a huge rose bush that wound up through our yew tree and it produced beautiful clusters of dark pink roses that turned gold as they aged. We have moved and want to plant the same rose in our new yard but we cannot remember what type it was. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

If you can go back to the property and get cuttings you could try rooting your own. Otherwise, you might be happy with a similar variety from a nursery. One such would probably be classed as a Climbing Floribunda, Climbing Hybrid Tea, Large-flowered Climber* or other designation used for large-flowered, repeat-blooming modern roses that grow tall.

*Not all of these re-bloom through the season
