Dessert Rose

Melissa67March 22, 2013

Ok so I saw a pic of the Dessert Rose and absolutely fell in love with it. So I go and order seeds. Well I get them in the mail yesterday afternoon. I open the package... seeds are there... no instructions on them.

I have never grown a rose from seeds and I really want to do them the right way...not sure if I should soak them first or what....

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I just want to do them right and enjoy them later.... thanks so much all!!!

Hi. "Desert rose" (Adenium species) isn't the same as a rose plant (Rosa species) It's an adenium. They are very beautiful--but I don't know much about them. There's a whole GardenWeb forum devoted to them where you can get more input. Good luck!
