Good Year for Peas
Here near the 49th parallel, it was a cool spring. Only one day did the thermometer get above 80. There were 3 days since the soltice that were 80Â°. However, the highest temperature so far in July has been 71Â° -- until today!
It has been a good year for peas! I just hope I can harvest them before they burn up in what is supposed to soon be 90Â°!
I'm holding the camera above my head - trying unsuccessfully to show that there are 3 beds but the sugar snaps, in the middle bed, are 6' tall! I'll be able to start picking this week.
