Can I plant seeds from an old rose hip?

edgossienApril 14, 2013

I recently found several rose hips we collected while traveling several years ago. Is there a chance the seeds would sprout? Has anyone had success with seeds that were several years old? If so, how should I go about it?

Thank you in advance.

If they're very dried out chances are they won't but what the heck, I'd go ahead and give them a try anyway. What could it hurt?
