xcaret(Calgary Alberta)August 3, 2013

My ex used to cut some part off the rose bushes and it made them bloom even better. Can someone tell me what to do ? ( she's not speaking to me ).

You need to dead head the spent blooms and the rose will then grow new blooms. You can do it any number of ways from just snapping off the dead bloom right below the hip to pruning back a long cane to keep the rose shaped. The general rule is to cut just above the first 5 leaf set below the spent bloom but it really doesn't matter as long as you dead head somewhere.
