How long are rose seeds viable?

joe_n_sc(7)September 2, 2006

I received some rose seeds in a trade and was wondering how long they are viable. Also, my mini's never produce hips, does anyone know why? Thanks, Joel.

I'm surprised that no one has answered this??

I don't have any experience with rose seeds so I'm not sure how long they are good for?? Maybe if you post it in the regular rose forum, I'm sure it will be answered much quicker.

I don't think all roses make hips.
