Shamelessly begging here

seil zone 6b MIOctober 23, 2013

I had really crappy luck again with my pollinations. Not one of my crosses hung on to ripen this season. I do know that we had a very cool, gray and damp early part of the summer and wonder if that may have been part of the problem. But the long and short of it is I don't have any hips to work with this winter. Does anyone have some hips they'd be willing to part with?

seil, I can gather hips for you. Problem is I can't tell you anything about the roses, even what type they are but could give you pictures and a description :)

So if your into surprises........

Do you want any from Purple Splash, Don Juan, or Iceberg? I have lots of those. But can look and see what else I can find for you.

I have some orange R. eglantine hips, a few others that are still green, though.

OH, Paul, I'm so sorry! I meant to send you an email and forgot. Yes, I did get them and thank you so much! Some really nice varieties I've never worked with before!
