A few roses and friends in early June

kathy9norcalJune 6, 2012

The roses have really quieted down and the daylilies now take the stage. But some roses never get tired. Here are a few from June.

Honey Bouquet in early morning sun, backlit

mini Palmetto Sunrise

Tuscan Sun

Portulacas (moss rose)

Pixie Pageantry, daylily

I Can't Believe My Eyes, daylily with bee

Fooled me for a moment with the portulacas, but became clear, as soon, as I saw the "leaves", no wonder they are called moss roses.

Lovely photos.

Tuscan Sun certainly is pretty and Oh! I LOVE daylilies. They're my other obsession. I actually spend more time at the daylily forum than here. lol
