Salvia stolonifera

gerris2March 16, 2013

This is a new species for me. It took about a month for the seed to germinate. Patience is a virtue when it comes to salvia seed starting. Thank you for providing me with the seed, Robin.

pretty baby! I'm a newbie in gardening, and also started two kinds of salvias this spring - s. dorrii and s. jurisicii, not taking long to germinate, but now the problem is to keep alive the seedlings indoors, before planting them outside.
