New Sans need ID help

greybird_kekeFebruary 9, 2013

I went to a garden show yesterday (love these mid winter garden shows!!) and found a couple of Sans that needed a home. The one on the right was tagged as a masoniana, but it doesn't look much like the one I already have...is it just younger?

Here's another photo of the one on the left. Thanks for any help with identification!

Wish I could help!
I really like the color, though.

Keke,
Well, here's my best guess. The one they called Masoniana, could be a Fischeri. But could be a list of many different kinds. That will require an expret to examine it and knowing where it came from.
The other one may or may not be a Robusta, or Futura reversed. It is possible it may not even be in the trifasciata group. So I guess I am no help. Sorry.

very nice plants! I don't know the ID of either one...just know that the right one isn't fischeri nor masoniana. Good luck on getting ID-ed

Hi guys! The one on the right might be Masoniana pups... The one on the left looks like a Subspicata. Just guesses though...

Hi Folks,

Nice plants, look healthy.

Sorry, don't know the IDs, but pretty sure the right plant is NOT Masoniana. I believe I have both regular & dwarf Masoniana & while I believe the plant on the right is neither (both the leaf shape & growth habit is different), sorry I have no suggestion as to what it really is. Enjoy!

I also have a masoniana but it doesn't look like yours. But I know that there are so many out there. I like both of your plants though. Look nice and healthy.

Thanks for looking and all the comments, everyone! Maybe I'll just have to be patient and see what they grow into!
