Could you help me identify a variegated salvia

It is red and the leaves are very beautiful. It has just started blooming:

Thanks in advance.

This is Salvia greggii `Desert Blaze', which is patent protected.

Rich, have you seen much reversion in the foliage on 'Desert Blaze'?

It is pretty stable, but occasionally a side shoot will revert.

If the seeds for this salvia are grown, will the variegation be lost?

More than likely, if the variegation is virally induced. If it is genetic, then the seedlings may come true.
