"May Night" Salvia vs "East Freisland Meadow" Sage

imscatteredMay 28, 2013

Came home with one each of these -- not Intentionally. Adding to already planted "May Night" The leaves are different texture but blooms look abt the same. Research doesn't really state any difference. I know sage = salvia.. too confusing!!

Question is: Will they be dead headed the same..any other difference anyone knows??

As far as I know, all of the S. nemerosa types benefit from dead heading. They are best performing in colder USDA Zones, especially 5. They need good siting to thrive in the hot, humid nights of the SE USA.
