Seed ID

ruthzJanuary 26, 2013

I know this is a stretch without a picture.
I received a packet of seeds in a RR trade with no name on them.
Seeds are about 1/2 inch total. Picture a Y with the top part having 6 to 8 thin fan like lines. Kinda like a rake.
Any guesses.

I think I've seen some sort of seed database on this forum that had pictures, maybe.

It is possible those are plumeria seeds and they need to be planted pointed end up about half way in the soil. You might want to do a web search by typing plumeria seeds for information.

I found the seed images and have identified the seeds as
Chrysactinia mexicana Damianita.
