Calendula

Hello,

I am planning on planting from seed calendula and some marigolds. If I want to save seeds for the following years will I have to worry about them cross pollinating?

I have grown both together for years and have never seen any interaction of any sort.

Calendula and Tagetes are in the same family but different Genera. They won't cross pollinate. If you grow different types of each they can cross within the Genus. For example fancy Calendula mixes, if you continually save the seed, have a tendencey to end up with more and more of the basic orange.
