Question about collecting pepper seeds

ididitApril 15, 2005

Hi - I've learned that tomato seeds must be 'fermented' before they are ready to dry. Is there anything special that needs to be done to pepper seeds?

Thanks in advance for any help.

No, it's not neccesary as the seeds are in a dry hollow. Tom seeds have a gelatinous coating.

In the FAQs you'll find instructions for saving pepper seeds.
