Two July show stealers

kathy9norcalJuly 4, 2012

I should have better things to do than post on the fourth but I am making barbecued baby back ribs, which take 5 hours for perfection. So, in looking at my photos, these two roses are definitely show stealers right now (and both growing in pots!)

Heaven On Earth

______________

Koko Loko

Koko Loko is a different color in shade and in sun, very noticeable to my camera. It grew into a great bush and is covered in blooms again.

Thanks for looking and have a great Fourth of July!

Very beautiful roses both, although I wish they'd stop giving modern roses such silly names. Something that beautiful should have a very pretty name.

I always thought Koko Loco, was a little drab looking, but it's really lovely.
Heaven On Earth has so many shadings too.

Hope you had a lovely 4th of July.

Love them! Every time I try to buy Heaven on Earth its sold out :( Maybe next year I'll be lucky!

Koko Loco did great last year for me...now this year, nothing! Not a single bloom yet this year...but yours looks amazing!

Oh so beautiful! Those are some of the prettiest Koko Loco blooms I've seen, what a unique color, I'm starting to wish I had picked up the one I saw earlier this season!

Thanks for the nice comments, all of you.
Ingrid, I agree with not liking silly names for roses. It takes something away from them.
Tammy, I hope it's not a flash in the pan rose! KL is growing beautifully in its first year, very full and even foliage, no dead leaves, lots of blossoms. It seems perfect for a big pot.
