Seed viability after transplant mature plant

harlgr8dane(5b ON)May 11, 2006

I was wondering if a plant is transplanted (bloodroot), with unripened seed pods...will the seeds continue to mature normally?

Or should I just cut the seed pods off to allow better roots to form and wait until next year to harvest seed from this plant?

Thank you for your help!
