reblooming for May Night

covellaJuly 10, 2008

I planted Salvia May Night in a partly shady location that is very dry in summer. It always performs beautifully with a big flush of blooms in early June and then completely stops. What can I do to get it to rebloom?

You may need to give it more sun and some extra water. What type of fertilizer are you using?

THat area gets very dry in summer and I never fertilize there because I thought salvias liked it that way
