harvesting lupines to early

melsmile(9)July 20, 2014

I have harvested my lupine seeds too early. What can I do to save them? This my first time dealing with them.

If they are green ... not much.

Next year, wait until the bottom pods are crisp and brown and even splitting. Then cut off the entire flower/seed spike and drop it into a paper bag. Seeds land in the bag.
