Orlaya Grandiflora

drippy(7bAL)August 15, 2005

Anybody know about these? At the end of the stem, where the flowers were, spiny pods formed. Are these the seeds? They appear to be 2-part, and inside a few of them there are smaller, darker brown funky looking things that aren't hard like the pods or like other seeds. Are these the seeds?

Thanks in advance.

Drippy, When I googled Orlaya Grandiflora, one of the names was White Lace Flower. I just received some from a seed company. The seeds are itty-bitty and dark tan. Hope this is correct.

Thanks, peat moss - the insides of these pods SORT of look like that, but they're not smooth. I think I'll keep them off my trade list this year, and plant two separate containers - one of the harder outer shell, one of the softer inner one, and see what comes up.
