Broom Corn

nemophila(z5 OH)September 21, 2005

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, but here goes : I thought it would be fun to grow broom corn this year. It's about 12 feet tall and looks really cool against the fence behind my house. I'm pretty sure it is ready to harvest now and it has dawned on me that I have no idea what I'm doing. So, any tips would be greatly appreciated as I would like to save the seeds at the very least.
