wondering has anyone found that these come true from seed rhs magazine says no how vaiable are these ? read here before about someone had single white single dark pink and the original tricolour
N. mutabilis comes true from seed. It is a species, not a hybrid. The word mutabilis means that the color is mutable, or changeable. Those single color variants that you see could be mutabilis hybrids or interspecific hybrids. I know of at least one mutabilis x alata, but it also has a color progression.
