Salvia Bright Eyes

Limy(9Ca)November 1, 2010

Just picked up this Salvia Bright Eyes today . I believe its one of Suncrest Nurseries latest. Its very beautiful and somewhat different. Does anyone else grow this. It appears to be a Microphylla .

Yes, I have it! I believe that I described it on the "new hybrids" thread. I agree with your overall assessment. :) It has been very floriferous, and I have collected a lot of seed from it in the last month or so! I know that most probably won't come true, but maybe some new hybrids?? The problem is, I am so busy with the current plant collection/ garden, that it's hard to stay on top of new seedlings, as well.

Suncrest appears to have quite a few new hybrids; I bought several at the fall UCBerkeley sale.
