Does anybody know what they look like? Are they tiny?
I checked that seed site but there aren't any there.
Lemon verbena doesn't produce seed.
Lemon verbena needs very specific conditions (including a lot of heat) to produce seeds. Best to grow from a cutting.
I think they do produce a few seeds. Last yr. I fell & broke several ribs, so plants did not get pruned. That meant the lemon verbena was left alone on it's own. Now I have 7 small baby lemon verbena around the mother plant. They are not suckers, as one is about 4 feet away. This yr. I checked & could not find one seed, but I know they are lurking about somewhere.
Where the flowers were on my plants, are now little brown things. Are those seeds? I just planted a few today, so I'll give it a shot. I live in south west Florida and it's been extremely hot and humid with little rain until recently, but I had tried to water every day. Are these seeds that I planted? Thanks.
anyone else had success finding lemon verbena seeds? this is one of the most elusive seeds i've come across
