kitchen_phoenix or other DC-area gardeners

I am a reporter working on a story about gardening. I'm trying to find DC-area folks who have started gardening projects, with little previous experience, in smaller spaces. You can email me at if you're interested in talking--I would love to interview you about how you got your garden inspiration....

Consider going to the upper Georgetown community gardens on the weekend and asking gardeners there.
You know where the Whole Foods is on Wisconsin, take just go up one street, make a left. At the 2nd street make a right and follow around the bend. You'll see the larger apartment building on your right. Keep going a bit, the community gardens are across the street from it on an angle.
We used to live in that. Darned if I can remember the address where we lived...but it's right in that area.
