Tattooed Lady

rev_rosesSeptember 7, 2009

We moved to Oklahoma in June and I got to put in a new rose bed. I put in the miniature Tattooed Lady along with 4 other minis. She has produced so beautiful flowers hear are a couple of them.

That's a rather strange name for a really lovely little rose. Thank you for posting the picture.

I think that miniature grows to 24" high?
Anyhow, it's a very nice rose!

Yes, it is a pretty rose with an unusual name. I'm sure the name will turn some onto it and others off. It is supposed to have some hand-painted roses in its background. This seems to come through. 24" is what I am planning on. The flowers hold up a long time once they have opened, unlike Vi's Violet beside it. VV's flowers open and in a day or two are gone.

I'm still trying to get a handle on posting photos and hopefully will be to get directly into the discussion.

Thanks,

Scott

Well the rose does look like a lady - very refined - holding her gloved hand out. I really like it!! Thanks for letting us see her.

Scott, I think the name of your rose fits it well! If you need help with Photobucket, let me know. I can't explain it well, but, I know who may be able to help out.

Thanks Jim,

Just knowing that the issue is on the side of photobucket let's me know where to work on figuring it out.

Tattooed Lady was bred by Sean McCann and is in keeping with some of his other unique roses.

I took your picture & sent it to my desktop, then I uploaded it to photobucket, then posted it here.
Hope you get things figured out!
