Flowers that would do well inside?

Megan_WJuly 25, 2014

I would love to have some flowers growing in my kitchen, but there isn't much light. I was wondering if you could recommend some pretty flowers that are fairly easy to take care of.

Most flowers just do not grow well indoors. Even flowering houseplants may have some difficulties unless required light levels are met. Personally, I find orchids tolerant of relatively low light levels and with a very extended bloom period. Moth orchids - phalaenopsis - can be in bloom for as long as 6 months. Easy-peasey to care for and sold cheaply at Trader Joe's.
