Just Joey

kathy9norcalSeptember 16, 2011

This is a great rose for my hot dry area. It is very well established, as I got it years ago from Target, of all places, as a very young bush. It is constantly in bloom with flushes, not just a couple of blooms. Its colors are amazing. I do grow it in a prime spot, lucky for me! It looks best in early morning or late afternoon sun. (I originally saw a bucket full of JJ blooms on a nursery counter and they smelled wonderful.)

Kathy, your 'Just Joey' looks simply gorgeous! I have given one to a friend as a gift and sadly it does not perform that well, maybe because it is own-roots.

Anyway, thanks for posting!

One of my favorite colors, and a wonderful rose. Thank you for the photos.
