how to get started

cntrygrl_NC(z8NC)June 3, 2005

I've been gardening for a while, but never thought about saving the seeds until someone gave me an old fashion plant (don't even know the name of it) and I took the dead heads off and they are full of little black seeds. where do i learn what i can get seeds from and where to look for the seeds? sorry i know this sounds like a stupid question, but i really am interested. thank you for any help you could give me.
