Need Layout Help

I have one 4' x 10' bed planted with strawberries that runs north and south. I was thinking of extending out this bed another 14' on the south end. Is this ok or does it need to be separated by more that just the board at the end of the original planter.

I meant to add that I will probably plant something other than strawberries in the 2nd bed
