You would be surprised how beautiful a tree stump planter is, just chip out the inside big enough for planting soil.

Thanks, butterfly, for the reminder. I have quite a few of these and will have many more by next spring. Question I ask myself is if I want to make these 'feeding stations' for the deer or if I can find the right mix of plants that are less palatable to deer.
