Hi All:

We have several huge garlic plants in our strawberry bed this year. I hear these plants are very compatible. My question is does anyone save the seeds in the little round flowers that grow out of the top of the garlic plant? If so what do you do with them. I tasted them and they're very tasty. I'd like to use them in my cooking. Has anyone else used these, can they be used to grow garlic? I generally use the bulbs not the seeds.

Thanks for any info.

It's my understanding, for what it's worth, that all parts of the garlic plant are edible. I haven't tried the seeds, but they sound interesting. They will produce new plants, and may become invasive. Maybe plant a bunch where you want some to grow. Hope this helps.
