New texas privet potted...and wilting HELP

lvbuckeyeSeptember 17, 2008

I had bought a texas waxleaf privet from star nursery. It has been planted in a 3 foot tall pot for about 3 weeks. I have been watering about every 2-3 days and the leaves seem to be wilting for the last 5 days or so. I am concerned if I am giving it to much water or am I giving it to little? What should I be doing and can I revive this tree? ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I have a young NM Privet. The leaves began to yellow. Turned out I was not giving it enough water. I think you should call the nursery and ask. Are you watering the pot from the top or the bottom, or both? I water plants in large pots at both ends to make sure all roots receive moisture.
