Your roses and garden are gorgeous. You even have red and, it looks good (Something I struggle with). Very cute shot of the hummer. This website is way too addicting. It's like getting a brand new garden mag. every day.
Thanks for the pictures,

Kathy, nice to see you posting, again!

Your garden is drop dead gorgeous! Are the photos taken now or are they from earlier in the season? If they are taken now, I can't believe how prolific your roses are still blooming!

I love the photo of Sweet Chariot. I ordered it earlier this year in summer, but the plant died. Your photo makes me badly wanting this rose again. The shot of the daylily is rather stunning. Very nice color and I really like the ruffles on the blooms. The hummer is adorable. We just put up a humming bird feeder, but unfortunately up to now only ants are eating from it. Hundreds of them, arrgh... I have to find a way to keep them away.

Great focus on the hummingbird!

Hot Cocoa looks like it has a great garden presence. Nice backdrop for Marilyn.

Photos are from October 17 mostly. I has been summer-like lately with cool nights. Lots of rust, pm showing up too. Wish I could prune now!
Christina, birdseed-type stores sell a little device that goes above the feeder, between the hook and where you connect the feeder on top, that thwarts or kills ants. We bought them for each feeder several summers ago and they still work. Also, fill the center hole with plain water to keep ants off the main feeder. Wish I could have captured the male Anna's with a solid red glowing head.
Thanks all for the comments!

Wow, what are you doing to create such an abundance of blooms on the 17th of October?! Just amazing!

Thank you so much for the tip regarding that device that keeps ants away from the humming bird feeder. I will see if I can get it at a local bird seed store asap. By the way, yesterday the first humming bird found our feeder. So cute!
