any recommendations on the best type of indeterminate tomatoes to grow in zone 3 for first time SFG? Am planning on making a trellis for them, but dont really know what might be best choice? thx

Your best bet is to go to a local nursery to see what they are growing. They will have what is best for your zone.

In addition to the excellent advice above, if you want heirlooms you want to look for the plants they grow in Russia. The catalogues you read for next year's garden dreaming will be sure to point this out for you.
