have: list of plants for mtps

farmerbell(6b TN)May 3, 2007

I finally got my act together after my plant sale and now have the following for the MTPS. (Thanks for the pots, Jeff!)

Virginia sweetspire (Itea) ÂHenryÂs GarnetÂ

Baptisia australis  small

Blue fescue  small

Perennial forget-me-not

Verbena bonariensis

Rose campionÂsome reserved for April

Black-eyed susans

Gloriosa daisies (rudbeckia)

Purple perilla

Verbena ÂSnowflurryÂÂThis is one of my all-time favorites. It is a white, perennial verbena that is virtually a non-stop blooming machine. The only time it is not in bloom for me is when the temps in the winter drop below 20 degrees. It also comes true from seed. I bought my original from Plant Delights Nursery in North Carolina. A link for a picture of it in my yard is below

I can also dig purple coneflower and hardy begonia and will also bring some seeds.

I am looking for rhubarb and a start of some of the newer daylilies  those with ruffled edges and big eyes. I also like anything tropical. Does anyone want to pre-arrange a swap?

See everybody very soon!

Ann I hope that you are coming to the fall MTPS!!!

Thank you sooooooooooooooo much for the Verbena ÂSnowflurryÂ. It has bloomed pretty much since you gave it to us. That little sprout is now 2' x 2'. I can't wait until I have to move it because it is too big.
