karenrfSeptember 3, 2010

Hi all.

I haven't gotten much of my list together yet but am working on it. Just wanted to get a post started to let you know I plan on coming.

May have if they root in time:

Pink Jasmine vine

Mona Lavender Plectranthus

Clematis(I can't remember which one)most likely purple blooms.

Indoor plants:

small cactus

Mother-in-Law's Tongue

Hummingbird Vine

Purple Hyacinth Bean Vine

Blackeyed Susan

Wow, that 'Mona Lavender' is beautiful! I sure wish it was either hardy here or I had more space for houseplants. That should be a huge hit at the swap if it roots in time.

Yep, Mona is beautiful.
Landscapers sometimes use it instead of the usual bedding type plants. It seems to bloom in the spring and fall, AND is easy to grow and root. So I could even bring cuttings if someone wanted a few.
With the temps getting so cool at night now I'm thinking some things are going to have to be moved to the greenhouse soon.

Hi Karen! I am interested in the purple hyacinth bean vine, hummingbird vine and pink jasmine. Take a look at my list and see if there is anything that you are interested in. I will be adding more as the week goes on - hopefully with some pictures to go with it. :D

Hope you have had a great summer!

Karen, you can add pics with the following HTML code...

img src="http://somepicturesite.com/yourpicture.jpg"; width=600>

Just replace http://somepicturesite.com/yourpicture.jpg with the actual image location address and use whatever width you want to make the pictures fit nicely on your page (600 is probably the upper recommended limit in most cases). Do keep a couple of things in mind...Consider the sources of your pictures and any copyright/usage limitations on their images. Also, use smaller resolution images to limit download time to within reason for those with slower connections. Email me if you have ANY questions at all and I'll try to help.
