Navy Beans per Square?

MickEmeryMay 25, 2013

Has anybody grown navy beans in their SFG? I'm going to try them this year. I've read that they are large plants. I was wondering what the recommended spacing would be? (Same as bush???)

Thanks,
Mick

Navy beans are haricots right ?

tbh, I'd go no more than two a square, preferably on the northen most edge of your plot to not shade out other plants.

if you're growing them, maybe grow with sweet corn ? max your return on space, one sweetcorn, one bean per square.

best of luck
