Hi
generally speaking the best choice of plants are those that originate from lowland tropicaL areas. They are adapted to year around high temps and humidity.
if a plant originates from an area with seasonal changes
it's a good bet that it's required not an option.
Not familiar with wooly thyme but most need lots of light and air movement ,difficult to provide in a closed container.
Lithops are desert plants needing almost the opposite conditions of the average container.
Not saying it can't be done. I've seen gorgeous "desert 'terrariums even in florida just requires a much different approach Good luck !!! gary

Thyme is unlikely to do well. Not only is the average terr lacking in decent air circulation, but thyme requires very high light -- something difficult to accomplish in a terr without sending the temps through the roof.

I would suggest that Lithops would probably be a very bad choice. Have you grown Lithops before (not in a terr)? Terrarium-wise, the same issues as stated above but even more so. Especially in a terr, one watering mistake is all it would take to kill any and all Lithops in the tank.

Though I still suspect a sad end, you could experiment and put some of your Lithops in a set up.
