Lots of blooms no fruit

rlkennerly(8)June 21, 2009

I'm growing American Melons, and they're absolutely *covered* in blooms. And have been for a few weeks now. But I don't have any fruit yet. Should I be hand pollinating? I tried that with the first few blossoms and it didn't work.

That's what they do. Until you get both male and female flowers together at the same time (and bees come), you'll have this condition.
