Unidentified pest

Gordon08March 19, 2014

Our tomato plant has seen one full season. It is a hybrid, and was parked next to an heirloom that didn't make it.

We have weathered horn worms, aphids, and various other worms that have attempted to take us down!

Recently we discovered this little bugger that has apparently decided to go forth and multiply on the upper leaves of the plant.

They are very small but look more like mites than aphids. They are red and vary in size. They do not move quickly, but the are everywhere... Laid out in rows on some leaves.

Anyone know what they are?
