Fruit worms inside tomato

gladgourd(7)May 13, 2009

Last year, for the first time in all my years of growing tomatoes, I found worms inside many of my tomatoes. They especially liked the Cherokee Purple. I believe they are fruitworms and I am wondering if anyone can tell me how to prevent them.

use spray that contains spinosad. if you see little lines, or mines in your leaves, it's probably the larval stage of pinworm. spinosad will kill miners, and worms. i think spinosad is organic, not sure. just follow instructions on bottle label.
